I just want to hear your thoughts about a newbie getting a HHKB Lite (for Mac) keyboard instead of a more proper mechanical keyboard. What I'm thinking is that while it's not as good as the one that uses actual Topre switches, I already like how it feels and sounds. It's going to be a nice entry point for me, which will get me used to the HHKB layout without breaking the bank so to speak. I get the impression that people here aren't so fond of it, though, and I like to know why.
